Ryan Jones has joined Blue Square North side Telford on trail. The 18 year old began his career at Liverpool where he worked his way through their academy before a move to Wigan Athletic and then Leeds United. The MyFirstAgent.com goalkeeper featured several times for Leeds United as a substitute before being released as a second year apprentice.
Ryan then went on trial at league two side Stockport County where he featured in a pre season friendly against Woodley FC. Ryan was unfortunate not to secure a contract with County and continued to look elsewhere.

Newcastle United winger Shane Ferguson made his full first team debut in a 3-2 win against league two side Accrington Stanley. The 19 year old who first joined Newcastle United in July 2007 made his reserve team debut in the 2008/09 campaign against Sunderland at St.James's park. He scored his first goal for the reserves in a derby fixture on the 24th October against Sunderland.
The Irish winger started his full debut at left back and helped the magpies progress into the third round of the league cup, he had an overall good game and especially had a strong second half.... Read full story
